An accident that took place in San Marcos, California, on Jan. 17 has resulted in the death of a 48-year-old tow-truck driver. The man, along with one other tow-truck driver, was helping another driver with a flat tire when the crash occurred after 7 a.m.
The husband of the 53-year-old bus driver, who, along with five students and three adult chaperones, was killed in a collision between a bus carrying high school students and a FedEx semi-truck, filed a lawsuit against the company on Oct. 29. His wrongful death claim is the 16th lawsuit filed against the company for the Interstate 5 crash that occurred near Orland on Apr. 10.
